01. Thanks for your acceptance, folks! |
|
We are really excited about the acceptance of our product FindMe! Dynamic. Looks like Flashmaps will soon be the standard for internet street maps. We are overwhelmed.
We know we cover an important need for many of you; something many of you have being searching for years: an efficient and affordable web mapping solution. But the acceptance we are experiencing has by far exceed our expectations. |
|
From this side, we'll keep on trying to build the best web mapping solutions money can buy, at reasonable costs and on a royalty free basis ('Pay once, use forever'). And, please, do share with us any suggestions to improve our products and services, as well as to easy your relation with your clients.
From the bottom of our heart, thank you very much all you guys. |

02. Adding Points of Interest to your maps |
|
Many of you have been asking for parkings, hotels, restaurants and other landmarks to be included on the map; well, here they are!
We call them pois (points of interest). You may add as many as you wish over each FindMe! Dynamic map. There are several families (like 'Transportation' or 'Accommodation'), and several categories inside each family (like 'Parking' or 'Hotel').
Standard mode lets you input the icon and a tool tip label. Ideal for simple and helpful pointing of landmarks around. Advanced mode puts in your fingers the power of a robust and powerful integration between maps and databases.
It's easy and fast. And results are awesome, unique. You're going to love it! |

Don't forget to click on a POI to get its shot and extended info on a cute translucent and draggable movieclip over the map. Your imagination is the limit: realtime location, pics, forms, live chat, video, videoconferencing, etc.
In order to include POIs inside your maps, in step 3 of the map building process, click on the 'Admin POIs' button in the bottom of the form. Read the short help available there.
If you want to add pois to a map you already purchased, just go to 'Transaction Records', edit that map and click on 'POIs Admin'. |

03. Break the limits! A first look at Bluehawk |
|
FindMe! Dynamic was designed to show the location of a certain place, and it's #1 making that job done.
But many of you have been asking for more: you want to use our pretty maps and useful dynamic navigation tools (zoom in and out, pan, magnifying glass, etc), but not focused on a certain place; rather you want to map hundreds or thousands of places over a city or many cities.
Bluehawk (code name) is designed for that. It let's you map as many points as needed; and you'll pay only for the maps required to cover that area.
Bluehawk opens up a new world of sophisticated enterprise solutions, like live fleet tracking, assets management, etc. We will be glad to discuss your needs, so we can implement them in early releases. Feel free to write us on that to newfeatures@flashmaps.com |
|

Bluehawk is expected to be launched in September. No pricing is available yet, although we promise to make it really affordable. Write us to bluehawkbeta@flashmaps.com if you want to enter our beta testing program.
Many directories have shown interest in this product. We are considering special conditions for directories that enter our affiliates program. We'll keep you up to date. |
